Tiger Sewing Solutions are looking for a Sewing Supervisor to join the team in January 2023.
The role of Sewing Supervisor is a key position within the Tiger Sewing Solutions team located in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12-£15 per hour dependent on experience
39.5 hours per week
Major Areas of Responsibility
Day to day supervision of Tiger Sewing Solutions
Ability to supervise the workflow of the team at your disposal
Pattern making when required (not essential)
Advanced sewing techniques
Sample manufacture
Packing goods ready for shipment
Cleaning and maintaining machinery
Maintain the working areas of the Production facility ensuring they are clean, tidy and organised fashion and that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.
Stock management
Management of holiday requests
Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Directors or other senior managers.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
You will have the ability to understand and react to instructions and requirements of the Directors and other managers in relation to basic operational tasks
You will require basic numeracy and literacy and communication skills
You will be prepared to regularly change the tasks you are required to do and have a highly flexible approach to working with others
Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines
At least 2 years of supervisory experience is not essential but will be an advantage
The ability to sew is essential.

Ability to work during core business hours on weekdays from our Eastleigh office, 07:00-16:00 Mon- Thurs 07:00-12:30 Fri (39.5 hours per week).
You will also work very closely with other supervisors and together provide each other support in the management of the factory.
